Madonna begins her second tour in June of 1987, her first world tour. It begins in Osakan, Japan, and finished in September in Florence, Italy. The show from Turin was registred from Italian Tv RaiUno and was a great success with an audience of 14'000'000 of people. The band was the same band that Madonna had from the Virgin Tour with new dancers and backing singers.
During the show, Madonna had a few of costumes coloured by red and gold. Her hair was cut short, and platinum color.
Madonna made $500,000.00 per show. In Japan, a thousand troops had to restrain a crowd of 25'000 fans seeking to greet Madonna at the airport.
Her performance at New York's Madison Square Garden was an AIDS-benefit to the foundation AMFAR. During the show Madonna dedicated the song "Live To Tell" to her late friend Martin Burgoyne
